All group 0+ carseats install rearward facing and as mentioned previously can be installed either using the vehicle’s internal seat belts or Isofix bases. Group 0+1 carseats are suitable from birth to 4 years. Babys-Mart offers one option for this classification. The Britax First Class is suitable from newborn to approximately 12-13kg the car seat is rearward facing. When the baby exceeds 13kg the Britax First Class car seat should then be forward facing from 9 to 18kg.
Group 1 carseats are suitable from 9 to 18kg which is approximately from 1 year to 4 years. These child car seats always forward face and can be installed using the vehicle’s internal seat belts or some have integrated Isofix fittings.

Group 2 3 car seats are suitable from 15 to 36kg which is approximately from 4 years to 11 years. These car seats act as a booster seat and raise the child up so they can utilise the vehicle’s internal seat belts. So there is not installation on this class of car seat. Just feed the vehicle’s internal seat belt through the child car seat.
